Configuring your system

To configure your system to read Unicode Bangla Font, read the following step by step HowTo Guide.





For Windows 2000 users

For Windows 2000 users

  1. Go to >> Control Panel
  2. Click >> Regional Options
  3. In the General tab, see the Language settings for the system
  4. Select >> Indic from the list/li>
  5. Click >> OK. You may have to restart your computer.





For Windows XP users

For Windows XP users

  1. Go to >> Control Panel
  2. Click >> Regional and Language Options
  3. In the Language tab, select Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai)
  4. Click >> OK. You may have to restart your computer.





Note:

The users, of Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT or older version of Windows operating system, will not be able to view UNICODE BANGLA in their computer.

You also can download the bangla font from the following link:

N.B.: After download the font just place /paste the font at C:\Windows\Fonts folder.
